Introduction
The DreamCloud mattress features eight layers of meticulously crafted luxury. It begins with a breathable cashmere blend cover, continues with contouring comfort foam, and builds to individually wrapped coils. Such intricate engineering is all about delivering plush cushioning without sacrificing the sturdy support necessary for rejuvenating sleep. A standout claim is its potential to alleviate pressure and promote spinal alignment—an advantage supported by multiple customer testimonials. Not to mention, it's CertiPUR-US certified, thus offering peace of mind that harmful substances like flame retardants and heavy metals are absent.
Quality and Craftsmanship
Quality is often an elusive metric when evaluating mattresses, with many individuals left feeling they’ve compromised on either comfort or durability. However, numerous customers have praised DreamCloud for meeting high expectations. One user shared his skepticism about ordering a mattress online and found himself pleasantly surprised. Describing it as a "high-end mattress," he emphasized the incredible support and comfort it provided, allowing both him and his spouse—despite their differing preferences—to sleep comfortably. Indeed, the combination of gel memory foam and innerspring coils has proven effective at both supporting a variety of sleeping positions and ensuring a satisfying night’s rest.
Usability and Functionality
For many potential buyers, ease of use and setup are crucial considerations. DreamCloud earns high marks for their mattress living up to the conveniency, being shipped efficiently and expanding easily once unpacked—a point emphasized by a review noting the mattress's quick two-day delivery period and seamless setup. Users have advised allowing 24-48 hours for full expansion to glimpse its full potential. However, a small minority found the peripheral support lacking; as one noted quite candidly, sitting directly on the edge may lead to an unexpected slide off. These observations suggest that while perfectly functional for typical nightly use, the mattress may not cater to habitual edge-sitters yet offers extraordinary overall comfort once positioned properly.
Comfort and Support
When it comes to comfort, the gel memory foam component cannot be overstated. Irrespective of one's sleeping habits (side, stomach, back), the DreamCloud mattress is frequently praised. It's lauded for relieving back pain and maintaining optimal pressure distribution through its carefully layered design. A reviewer suffering from back issues confessed his long search for a supportive bed had ended, calling it a "life-changer" for his condition. Although characterized as medium-firm, the subtle plushness woven into the mattress's design ensures it does not feel like sleeping on hard ground—perfectly balancing firmness and softness.
Additionally, DreamCloud's cooling technology represents a considerable advantage, especially noted by a 28-year-old user who experienced regulated temperatures despite typically hot nights, adding to the mattress's allure.
Durability and Warranty
Durability is a primary concern when investing in any mattress, and DreamCloud offers an enduring solution backed by a Forever Warranty—not to mention the 365-Night Trial. One user, standing at 250 lbs, reported no sagging issues, testifying to its robustness. This suggests confidence, not only in product construction but also in durability over time. Yet, caution prevails; a dissatisfied customer shared frustration over a challenging return experience with a third-party vendor, hinting at the necessity to purchase directly from authorized channels for seamless warranty validation.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the DreamCloud 12" King Mattress stands out as a comprehensive solution to a common sleep dilemma: finding a mattress that unequivocally caters to varied preferences without compromise. Its pros include quality construction, versatility, pressure alleviation, and commendable longevity. However, minor edge-related stability concerns and complexities around third-party warranty claims may serve as cautionary points to consider. Nevertheless, from the majority of customer experiences surveyed, the DreamCloud emerges as a stellar choice for luxury hybrid mattress seekers. For anyone contemplating the investment, proceed with optimism, for restful nights await.

Comments from Amazon:
I am genuinely shocked at the quality of sleep that I am having from this new mattress. I was in a rush to get a mattress and ended up buying this one based off of reviews, which I could not believe I did. Once I got the bed and slept in it I was in complete shock. I still am. I sleep unbelievably well every single night. I prefer a medium or medium soft mattress. This is the perfect firmness with a little softness to it. I am 28y/o 6’2 175lbs, side sleeper. I usually get pretty hot in my sleep, but my temperature has been pretty regulated with this mattress. I can feel the quilt of the mattress below my sheet and mattress cover. It feels great, I love it. I recommend this mattress to everybody I talk to. You will slide right off the edges if you try to sit on the edge. But that doesn’t bother me because I don’t sit on the side of my bed that much. If I had a partner, I would maybe eventually want a king because of the edge support. If I had more money, I would go for the more premium mattress, but I am so happy with my purchase and highly highly recommend this mattress.
Bought this mattress December 9 2024 shipped really fast like 2 days it was at my door. I let it expand for about 28 hours before I layed on it. Did a lot of research before I purchased to be sure it's what I wanted and you should as well. Love the comfort, doesn't sag in the middle at all and my weight is 250 lbs so lot of support for your back or how ever you sleep. It is heavy so will probably take 2 people to remove it from the box it comes in. So on a scale of 1-10 I'll give it a 9.5 for me . But even if it's not for you still keep looking I'm sure you will find something you like. But I found the same mattress here were I live but it was 100.00 more that's why you shop around.
THE QUAILTY IS AMAZING! I WAS EXPECTING IT TO BE PILLOW SOFT! IT IS VERY FIRM EVEN WITH A GEL MATTRESS TOPPER. SO NOW I HAVE TO INVEST IN A LATEX MATTRESS TOPPER TO MAKE IT PILLOW SOFT. I DO HAVE TO SAY I WAKE PAIN FREE!
I did a lot of research after throwing away money for several pillow toppers not realizing the mattress was the issue. This mattress has been a life changer. Within 3 weeks my backpain is gone. I still can’t believe I finally found a mayress that works. I recommend !
I purchased this queen size mattress for my guest bedroom. It seemed like it was a good purchase, but after unboxing and setting it up, the entire perimeter of the mattress never expanded completely. If you try to sit or lay on the side of the mattress, it collapses and you fall off the bed. The mattress was listed on Amazon as having a 365 night trial, like all Dream Cloud mattresses do. When I contacted Amazon, they told me that it was too late to return the mattress, and that they did not do exchanges. After going through the fine print of my purchase, they agreed that they could issue a refund as long as I packaged the mattress and sent it back within 10 days. Obviously, you can’t package a mattress that weighs over 100 pounds. When I inquired about the 365 night trial, and getting a replacement, I was told that I had to contact Dream Cloud directly. Since Dream Cloud customer service was listed as an option for assistance with returns on my Amazon order, I reached out to them. Dream Cloud informed me that they have nothing to do with the purchases made through Amazon and that I would have to contact Amazon for any returns. When I asked about the 365 night trial, the Dream Cloud customer service representative told me that yes, they do honor that trial, but no, they couldn’t because I bought the mattress through Amazon. Huh?! I’m going to attempt to ship this mattress back to Amazon for a refund. Hopefully, a courier will pick it up as-is. I wasn't looking for a refund. I just wanted a replacement. I will definitely not be ordering any mattresses on Amazon in the future. All major purchases will have to be made directly through the manufacturer, so that nobody can play the blame game if/when something goes wrong.
I read the reviews before purchasing, reading the pros and cons of buying this type of mattress. I went to a local mattress store and tried out their "hybrid" mattresses, not telling them I was sizing it up for an online purchase. This was significantly cheaper than buying from the stores in town. I read one gentleman's review that gave me the confidence to give it a try. He raved about how great the mattress was and would return to give updates along the way to inform whether it was only a quality mattress in the beginning and if it depreciates along the way type entries. I am happy to say, "that guy was spot on" - it's a great mattress. Yes it is a little different than regular mattresses - if you are trending to always sit on the very edge of the mattress (not fully with your knee and butt area all on the bed) you will feel what you think is a weakness and it's not firm (I assume this is normal, as the local store hybrid mattress was the same way...). You have to literally sit fully in the bed with your knees right up the mattress before sitting down to avoid this. Once you are in the bed it's amazing - it is not weak by any means, it is extremely comfortable. I have a bad back - birth defect - have had to sleep in a recliner for the last few years. This is the FIRST mattress that I can actually sleep on and still walk the next morning - I have thanked God nightly upon lying down because of the relief and comfort this mattress offers me. I primarily sleep on my side with some back positioning at times. My husband sleeps on his side/back/stomach and he likes the mattress also. We could not sleep in the same bed because of our varied preferences and needs in a mattress. We got the wild idea to buy 2 xl twin mattresses and put them together to build the king bed. It's PERFECT, we don't wake one another up moving around, can get in/out of the bed without disturbing the other one etc. My need for a firm/softer mattress and his need for a firmer/not as soft as my preference mattress was met in this one mattress selection -it's literally the BEST mattress we have ever slept on. HIGHLY recommend this particular mattress. ***I bought 3 xl twin mattresses - one for me/husband for the king bed and one for my elderly 85 yr old mother who said her back was hurting with the old mattress. We are all three very happy with our selection of this hybrid mattress that arrived in a box haha That alone scared me - arriving in a box? Who would have thought it would turn out to be such a godsend for us all? **NOTE: I was prepared to buy whatever mattress type I needed and whatever my husband needed - which is partially why we went to the mattress shop to test out all of the mattress types in person. I anticipated us to have different mattresses due to our history of hating the other one's preferences for a mattress...amazingly we both ended up liking the same mattress in the store over all other high-end mattresses (the hybrid won us both). I would have to say - this is a HIGH-END mattress as it definitely met the criteria of consumer satisfaction - which should be the ruling element in determining what is "high-end" and what is not.
